A milonga is a social tango dance night. People dance in sets of three or four songs called tandas, and each one is followed by a short break. It differs from a class, where you learn, and from a práctica, a more informal practice session.
It depends on the organizer and the venue: some milongas are free, others charge an entrance fee that sometimes includes a drink. When the organizer has published the price, you will find it on the event page.

Something comfortable that you can move in, a little smarter than for a class. Shoes with a smooth sole glide best on the dance floor, and many dancers bring a spare shirt or a second pair of shoes.
