Where the information comes from
Every day we check the public pages and social media profiles of organizers, venues, schools and communities: Instagram, Facebook and their own websites. On top of that, organizers, musicians and dancers send us events and corrections directly, through the form on this site.
How events are checked
Posts and flyers are read with the help of automated tools, including AI. An event that is complete and consistent is published; one that is incomplete or doubtful waits for a person to review it. Each event keeps a link to the post it came from.
Changes and cancellations
When an organizer announces a change, we update the event and mark it as rescheduled, sold out or cancelled, so you can see it at a glance. Every event page shows where its information comes from and when it was last updated.
Spotted a mistake?
Tell us and we will fix it. Organizers can also update their own events or add new ones at any time; it takes a minute and it is free.
