A Weekend of Tango Sound 21-22 November 2026 About Eric Heleno Eric Heleno is a tango DJ, sound engineer, professional dancer, teacher and software developer whose work has taken him to a great many countries. Since entering the Argentine tango world in early 2014, he has played at milongas and festivals, taught, performed, and co-organised the Milonga des 4 Saisons in Provence, one of the oldest tango marathons in Europe, giving him first-hand knowledge of every side of a tango event, from the dance floor to the sound desk. He holds a sound engineering qualification from the OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts) examination board and brings more than 25 years of teaching experience in audio engineering, music production and performance, dance and singing. That rare combination is the heart of these workshops: technical audio knowledge, explained by someone who knows the music, the dancers and the DJ’s craft from the inside, and who knows how to make it clear and useful for artists.
