We’re back with a premiere: the debut of the Sexteto típico “El levante”. Live music to dance to! The Sexteto típico is the formation that defined the sound of tango from the 1920s onward, in the transition from the Guardia Vieja to the Guardia Nueva: two bandoneons, two violins, piano and double bass. “El levante” covers works from the Guardia Vieja to today, along with its own pieces, instrumental and sung, all of a distinctly danceable nature.
