Semplicemente Tango! Artetango (Open) Marathon

Dear members and tango friends, we are happy to invite you to a new extraordinary weekend with the Maratonita d’autunno of Artetango! This year our event opens with a special novelty: an afternoon workshop with two extraordinary Argentine teachers and artists: ***** Natalia Lavandeira and Ángel Fabián Coria A precious opportunity to study, exchange and enrich one's tango, and then to see them as protagonists, with their performance, in the Gran Milonga on Saturday evening. With us also the magnificent musicalizadores: * Claudio Vitrani * Marco Vaghestelle * w/ Alter Abrigo On the wave of our SaintVincenTango! Festival, with the same spirit of celebration, passion and hospitality, and also thanks to the requests of many friends, Artetango therefore returns to propose, “in its own way”, this Maratonita d’autunno, keeping costs very low. The success of previous editions invites us to confirm a formula in which we believe: a weekend dedicated to tango, to be experienced intensely, among study, music, embraces and friendship. A two-day event in which tango is not only dancing, but also encounter, sharing and the pleasure of being together. The guests? : Everyone is invited! The styles? : All tango styles, as long as they respect the dance floor and the other dancers. The music? : All tango music, with the different nuances and accents alternating according to the moment, the atmosphere of the dance floor and the sensitivity of our musicalizadores. As a couple or alone? : It doesn't matter: the Maratonita is open to everyone, absolutely everyone! We hope that no tanguera remains seated waiting, that no little groups or cliques form, and that everyone has the pleasure of inviting those they do not yet know, as well as old friends. The spirit of Artetango? : Tango as celebration, embrace, exchange of emotions and pleasure of dancing together. With a nice novelty: this time Natalia and Ángel will give us their tango in the Gran Milonga on Saturday evening. For the rest, no seeking the spotlight and no complications or constraints: the true protagonist remains the dance floor, with its embraces and the emotions of those who live it. “Simply Tango! But with something more!” We have planned the schedule with some breaks to refresh ourselves, chat and catch our breath, so as to return to the dance floor with even more desire to dance.
