Milonga del Polo del 900

For one evening, the Polo del ‘900 transforms into a milonga, in which tango steps and live music accompany the story of Sofia Borri, whose mother, Silvia Susana Roncoroni, is a desaparecida during the military dictatorship. The tango, forcibly repressed by the regime, became in those years an expression of resistance and of struggle for the safeguarding of one's roots, not only personal but also cultural. Today tango continues to represent a tool with which the granddaughters and grandsons of the Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo want to reclaim a part of existence never lived and not even imagined. A tribute to Argentina and its people, paid by the tanguera community, by Argentine and Turin artists, teachers and musicians.
