SUNDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2026 - LA MI'LUNE AMANDA & ADRIÁN COSTA: TANGO AS THE ART OF ENCOUNTER There are dancers who impress us with their technique... and others who touch us with their way of inhabiting the music, listening to the other and giving meaning to every step. Amanda and Adrián Costa bring together these two universes. Partners in life as in tango for over twenty years, dancers, educators and passionate about transmission, they defend a profoundly human vision of Argentine tango. Four fundamental principles constitute, in their eyes, the Essence of tango. The abrazo, this space of trust where two people learn to listen to each other. Musicality, not just following the rhythm, but letting the music inspire every intention, every movement, every silence. The connection, where guiding and following become a dialogue, in which each person fully exists. The ronda, finally, because tango is never danced just between two, but also with all those who share the floor. One of their most beautiful convictions admirably summarizes their philosophy: « We don't dance just for ourselves, we dance with the other and in the ronda. » Their teaching is rooted in the tradition of the great maestros, notably Jorge Dispari and María del Carmen, while proposing a living, sensitive and contemporary approach. They remind us that tango is not an accumulation of spectacular figures, but an art of presence, listening and sharing. On Sunday, November 1st, La Mi'Lune will be happy to welcome them. A beautiful opportunity for our students and all tango lovers to discover two artists who have made this dance much more than a passion: a true philosophy of life.
