As every Sunday afternoon, Tango cocktail organises the "Dimanche À La Platière" for you! This time it will be a Halloween atmosphere thanks to YOU! On the programme: - 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, a technique and kindness-focused Tango workshop offered by Loïc & Céline. - 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM, a musicalised Milonga by DJ Aurélio of the Tango Cocktail Team (40% traditional Tangos, 40% modern and 20% alternative with tandas and cortinas) with song titles displayed on a giant screen! - Dress code: HALLOWEEN! Small details or full costume, your choice. We are counting on you. Don't be afraid! Workshop theme with Loïc Moine & Céline Marchand: Sunday November 1st: SOME MILONGA VOCABULARY, PLEASE! Many of us dancers dread dancing milonga. When the DJ plays this tonic and joyful music, the dance floor empties, and what often comes up in discussions is the following thought: "Tango, Argentine Waltz, that's okay, but when it comes to dancing Milonga, I lack vocabulary". We will therefore learn some movements from the milonga repertoire (which can also spice up Tango or Vals) to have more material and FINALLY have fun in this dance. Yay, vamos! The objective is to develop a musical, refined, joyful, and comfortable dance where technique becomes the support for a free and shared expression. Leaders (the guides) and Followers (the interpreters) will have an active, attentive listening and a kind dance with space for everyone to express themselves. This workshop is open to everyone: Leaders, followers, double role, from beginners to advanced, solo, in pairs, in groups, you will be welcome! Who are these teachers? A regular contributor and very active member of the Tango Cocktail team, Loic Moine dances and teaches with gentleness, wit and kindness in Lyon. Specialised in Brazilian partner dances (Gafieira, Forró, Boléro...), Loïc co-organised the "Vendredi des Rancy", a series of educational workshops designed as a showcase allowing the discovery of the world of Tango, the vocabulary of this dance, its historical culture, the different styles of tangos and the teaching universes of many local and international professors. His long pedagogical experience and his extensive knowledge of many South American dances feed a generous, joyful and curious vision of a Tango open to other partner dances.
